NJ Computer Science Hubs
Since 2021, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) has supported three regional Computer Science (CS) Hubs through a competitive grant opportunity to expand equitable access to high-quality computer science education. The NJDOE is proud to continue supporting the CS Hubs initiative into its fifth year.
From June 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, the CS Hubs will offer New Jersey public school K–12 teachers and administrators free professional development, technical assistance, classroom resources, and networking opportunities to support implementation of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in Computer Science (NJSLS-CS).
Each CS Hub provides flexible, standards-aligned professional learning opportunities—including in-person, virtual, and blended formats—focused on both computer science content and inclusive instructional practices across all grade bands. Educators can also access the Hub’s lending library, which offers classroom-ready kits such as microcontrollers, robots, drones, and other physical computing devices that can be borrowed for hands-on use in schools. New Jersey public schools are encouraged to connect with their regional CS Hub for guidance and to visit their Hub’s website below to register for upcoming events.
